Sunset - January 3, 2007 : Temp 4C/40F In Nova Scotia one never knows what to expect when it comes to sunsets. They change from day-to-day and even from minute-to-minute. The only constant is that most of the time they are absolutely spectacular. are love these kind of sunsets. I photograph sunsets at every opportunity. On this day, the neighbouring crows decided to give my photos an extra edge. A flock of crows is called a "murder". It's ironic that some of these photos were of a blood red sky.

Sunset - January 9, 2007 : Temp 5C/40F Such a gorgeous sunset. Reminds me of those sunsets often found in many paintings. Check some of the cloud formations. I\'ve seen what looks like a hand holding the sun, a running horse, maybe a buffalo breaking through. These photographs cannot even begin to express the overwhelming awe as this sunset progressed. The rays breaking through at all different angles. I never saw such beauty. :)

Sunset - January 23, 2007 : Temp -3C/25F Wind Chill -10C/14F It started out to be a rather mediocre sunset by Nova Scotia standards and then turned into one of the best I\'ve ever had the luck to photograph! Our friends the crows joined in as well as the Planet Venus allowing us a peek. I ended up taking nearly 350 shots of this particular sunset. My trigger finger was getting numb and my hands were ice cold, but well worth it.

Sunset - February 3, 2007 : Drama in the skies. This is a perfect example of sunsets on the Atlantic Ocean. All of these changes took place over 27 minutes and dusk lasted for another hour. The crows joined in as they usually do :).

Sunset - Cape D'Or - July 2007 : On the day we visited Cape D'Or on the North Shore of Nova Scotia, the skies went from a beautiful soft blue colour with fluffy white clouds to very turbulent and threatening skies within a couple of hours.
