$Gallery of Light : I always loved how light refracts in CDs and DVDs, so one day I was sitting around trying to think of a daily photo. A coin fell on the ground and was spinning. I started to spin other things and eventually tried capturing a spinning DVD. I played with the strobe flash a bit before, but only to see how it worked. I thought maybe I can catch the sequence of the DVD spinning. I not only did capture the rotations, but reflective surface on the DVD refracted the bright strobe beam for each flash revealing a light pattern of the rotation. So off go the lights and the rest is history. All these photos are of either one or two DVDs in motion while using a strobe flash. They are best viewed with the lights out. So sit back and throw some tunes on (preferably Pink Floyd) and watch the slide show. :) Enjoy. Rich$
